NATIONAL BLACK BOOK FESTIVAL

The 4th annual National Black Book Festival
June 10-12, 2011 at the Doubletree Hotel in Downtown Houston and is sponsored by Cushcity.com, one of the leading Web sites promoting African-American literature.

This 4th annual event will include the following features:

● Corporate/publisher booths
   ● Author exhibits
● Featured author discussions and signings
● Book Club Central

● Spoken Word Poetry Slam
   ● Workshops and seminars
● A reception, a breakfast, and a Sunday brunch
● On-site author radio interviews
● And more!

The 2011 Festival will be marketed nationwide to over 1,100 Black book clubs, 25,000 book readers and 100 libraries. In addition, national and local media will be apprised of the event.

Authors may obtain a draped table during the Festival. Author tables include two chairs, two badges (for an assistant, if needed) and table signage. Authors will be grouped according to genre for easy navigation through the Festival space for readers.
The authors will be grouped according to genre and there are 19 different genres, as shown below.
